An Endless summer

Only the Earth harbours seasons like these
A watery, tender planet

I’d heard all about the cycles
The second chances
The roundabout of tidal challenges

I wanted to taste the rain
Soak in the gravity of forgetting
The vastness, cosmic fields from which I commenced
I longed for the mask of play & character

There is an endless summer now arriving
I am done with the up and down of a sun
I didn’t know could set

Prior to my descent here, all I knew was forever.
